Benvenuto and welcome to the Eternal City! With celebratory keto-dinner waiting in the heart of Rome, choose between settling in or exploring about – a Roman Holiday atmosphere will ensure that golden slumbers are enjoyed by all. (D)

  • Welcome keto-dinner at a fun local restaurant

Day 2 - Rome
Consider pairing a double espresso alongside your first Italian breakfast, as the ensuing tour of Rome’s most prized possessions might just blow you away. You’ve seen the Colosseum, St. Peter's Square, and perhaps even the Mouth of Truth before – but as you’ll find firsthand – not even IMAX 3D can do them justice… and that’s only a taste of the many stops in store. (B)

  • Private guided VIP tour through the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel, Saint Peter's Square and Basilica
  • Private driving tour of the Roman Forum, Colosseum, Mouth of Truth, Piazza Venezia, and Campidoglio Hill

Day 3 - Pompeii & Sorrento
Tour through time with a walk in Pompeii as you embark up the Amalfi Coast. Then, wind your way over coastal hills on your way to sweet Sorrento. (B, D)

  • Ease into a new rhythm as you stroll through Sorrento, overlooking Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples
  • Private walking tour with a local guide of Pompeii, the ancient Roman colony destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD
  • Private lecture by Maria
  • Learn to make mozzarella in the cheerful atmosphere of a local family farmhouse, before enjoying an organic, homemade dinner

Day 4 - Sorrento & Capri
Travel by boat to the island of Capri – known around the world for its breathtaking natural beauty, chic shopping scene, and fine-dining options (i.e. the classic Italian pairing of tomatoes and mozzarella takes its name from here!) This magical island has been attracting celebrities from Ernest Hemingway and Audrey Hepburn to Harrison Ford and Tom Cruise.  (B)

  • Jetfoil round trip, Sorrento to Capri
  • Private guided visit of Capri, including a funicular ride, entrance to the Gardens of Augustus, and a boat cruise around the island of Capri

Day 5 - Amalfi Coast
Let the Mediterranean Sea breeze guide you through the colorful coastal villages of Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi, where an air of ease and elegance graces charming old chapels, cute little cafés, and the quintessentially-quaint main streets that house them. (B)

  • Private drive along one of the most romantic, scenic drives in all the world: the famed “Divine Coast”
  • Entrance to Villa Cimbrone, where a special view of the Tyrrhenian Sea from the “Terrace of Infinity” awaits

Day 6 - Florence
Now with the wind at your back, travel to the rolling hills of Tuscany, where the warm sun will have Florence – cradle of the Renaissance – blossom before you. (B)

  • A city-walk through the famous Signoria Square, the fantastic Cathedral and Giotto’s Gothic Bell Tower, the Baptistery’s ornate “Gate of Paradise” bronze door, and the beloved “Ponte Vecchio” stone bridge

Day 7 - Florence & San Gimignano
Marvel at the memory of medieval life beneath the historic towers of San Gimignano, perched above Tuscany’s miraculous Elsa Valley. Then enjoy a local organic dinner at a classical Tuscan Chianina cattle ranch. (B, D)

  • Visit the medieval city of San Gimignano, “Town of Towers,” known around the world for its Vernaccia grapes
  • Private lecture by Maria
  • A genuine Tuscan family dinner among the ancient olive groves

Day 8 - Orvieto & Rome
Return to Rome, though not without first stopping for the must-see city of Orvieto, center of the Etruscan civilization, where the past three thousand years are ever on display off Umbria’s tufa cliffs. (B, D)

  • Private travel through Tuscany, Umbria, and back to Rome
  • Farewell dinner and goodbye toasts

Day 9 - Rome
Time to pack your bag, enjoy your final espresso and… Arrivederci Roma! (B)
