Q. What if I have to cancel my deposit?

A. Cancellations must be received in writing. In the unlikely event that a minimum number of bookings is not reached by the stated deadline, only a 5% payment processing fee of the deposit will be retained - the remaining 95% will automatically be refunded. 


Q. What if I have to cancel my full payment?

A. Full payment will be required once a minimum number of bookings have been reached, at which point the deposit becomes non-refundable. Cancellations must be received in writing. Any non-refundable processing fees and deposits paid on your behalf (i.e., hotel, dinner and travel reservations) will be held and not refunded. We may offer a 50% reimbursement of full payment IF, AND ONLY IF, we are able to find an equivalent replacement for you at that time.


Q. I am arriving earlier in a different city from where the tour is starting, may I arrange for private transportation through MV?

Q. I am ready to book - what do I do?

A. Kindly fill out the Book Now form on your desired tour’s webpage. Of course, you may also contact us directly.


Q. How can I pay?

A. Acceptable forms of payment include Paypal, Wire Transfers and Credit Cards. Please note that a 3% service charge may apply.


Q. I think my luggage may be too heavy?

A. We kindly ask that all luggage not exceed 50lbs/23kg in weight, so as to allow for an intimate travel experience.


Q. Should I purchase travel insurance for my trip?

A. We strongly encourage that travelers take out insurance for the entire duration of their journey. Health, accident, baggage, trip cancellation and interruption insurance is strongly recommended. Your travel insurance should also provide coverage for medical emergencies, such as illness or injury during your travels. We recommend purchasing insurance once full payment has been received.


Q. Do your tours include international airfare?

A. Airfare is not included, though we certainly are happy to advise. Do take your departure location into account and plan to arrive on your tour’s stated start date.


Q. Is tipping included? If not, how much should I budget?

A. Tips are not included and tipping is entirely at your discretion; of course, we are more than happy to assist with suggestions.
